In May 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed amongst ITRAMAS, UEM Sunrise & CMEC Group to jointly develop the Gerbang Nusajaya Industrial Park in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
With the aim of attracting manufacturers from the Renewable Energy (RE), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Electric Vehicle (EV) supply chains, the Industrial Park is positioned to make Malaysia the regional hub for RE, BESS and EV technologies.
